Senior School

 Grades 5 and 6 have been laughing all the way to the bank.  Those students struck by last terms Gold fever have been replaced by ambitious and conscientious money makers.  As part of the ‘Earn and Learn ’program students started receiving a weekly pay check.  It seemed to good to be true, and it was, Tax, bills and services were introduced.  Throughout the program students will plan, develop and run a business while practising and consolidating real life maths skills.  Students have polished their ‘p’s and shinned their ‘q’s as negotiation became part of their week.  Commercialism is our term 3 topic and students have been tackling the big questions such as what do we NEED and what do we WANT.  The tricks to advertising are slowly revealing themselves along with some sensational writing pieces and creative designs.
