Year 3/4 Camp
Each year, our Year 3/4 students have a camp as part of the curriculum. The camp is a 3 day, 2 night camp. The camps rotate on a two year cycle between an educational camp and an adventure camp. Students have the opportunity to work together in teams, learn about the city and various landmarks, as well as learning to be away from home, which for some, is the first time.
The students thoroughly enjoy the camps and learning different skills and knowledge outside of the classroom environment.
In 2016, the Year 3/4s went to CYC City Camp in Melbourne. This camp included tours of the MCG and National Sports Museum, Melbourne Zoo and The Shrine of Remembrance.
Year 5/6 Camp
The Year 5/6s have an adventure style camp each year. They visit the camp for 5 days, 4 nights. The students enjoy these camps immensely, participating in activities such as the giant swing, flying fox, canoeing, ropes courses and raft making.
The students enjoy spending the time together, using teamwork skills and challenging themselves.
In 2016, the Year 5/6s attended Coonawarra Farm Resort in East Gippsland, from the 8th – 12th February.
